Arthur Rowe Anderson is an illustrator from Concord, New Hampshire. He went to New Hampshire’s Technical Institute (NHTI) from 2015-2019 where he received two associate degrees, one in general studies and the other in visual arts. He also received the Senior Award of Excellence in Visual Arts for his portrait work of his senior capstone. He then transferred to the Institute of Art and Design at New England College where he received a bachelor’s degree in Illustration. While there, his primary focus was using his knowledge of figure and portraiture, learned at NHTI, to illustrate more exaggerated characters for projects such as labels, posters, album covers, and children’s books. His preferred mediums are graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic paint, and digital. He is now working as a freelance illustrator and working on his own personal work under the brand name Homely Homies®. This brand is not only in the style he is most passionate about but also focused around ideas that excite him the most and that will do the same for its audience. His freelance title , artrowe illustration, comes from a nickname, artrowe, some of his friends call him. He thought it was perfect because it sounded like a mix of his first and middle name while his friends had not even realized. When Arthur is not working on a piece you can find him on his skateboard or hanging out with his girl friend and cat. He'd love to work with you to bring your creative ideas into physical form. leave a message through the 'Contact' page or email him directly at artroweillustration@gmail.com.
